Business Writing

The quote at the bottom of this page sums up beautifully what this programme delivers.  We focus on the art of written communication – how to get your audience to pay attention to what you have to say.

It is important to understand your readers – why, how, what, and when they want to read.  We are bombarded with information and requests from people using a wide variety of media to the point that the most enjoyable part of a holiday is not having access to emails!  How do your written communications stand out amongst this clutter?  Are you getting the attention you need and want?

This programme is designed for anyone who wants to have more impact in their writing.  We start by getting current – knowing what people today want and how they want it.  Then we move into the art of writing for our audience using tools and tips to get on the right track.  A special section is dedicated to best practise use of our tools, for example how to send a business txt.  Or in fact, should you send a business txt?

If you're interested in developing your communication skills, it's a great add on to our Present with Impact and Interpersonal Communication programmes.

“The two words ‘information’ and ‘communication’ are often used interchangeably, but they signify quite different things.  Information is giving out; communication is getting through.”
